# trace_call on MegaETH

> trace_call returns the Parity-style trace of an `eth_call` on MegaETH, via GoldRush JSON-RPC.

## Parameters

| `traceTypes` | `Array<String>` | yes | Trace types to include. One or more of `trace`, `vmTrace`, `stateDiff`. | `["trace", "stateDiff"]` |
| `blockTag` | `QUANTITY \| TAG` | no | Block number (hex) or block tag. Defaults to `latest`. | `"latest"` |

## Returns

`Object`: `{output, trace[], stateDiff?, vmTrace?}`

## Errors

Standard JSON-RPC errors: `-32600` invalid request, `-32601` method not found, `-32602` invalid params.
